Dreamland

There was a day I used to know
When everything had a do and don’t
Where the world was at peace
No war, no death, no anger
Smiling faces and open arms
No hunger or disease
Silence everywhere
No screams or car alarms
But now I know it’ll never be
For now, it’s only when I’m at home asleep
